The Tuesday
Group supports a number of outreach ministries:
Proceeds
from the "No-Bake Bake Sale" support the local CHOW program
In collaboration with Church Women United, the National Council of
Churches and Church World Service, school kits and health kits are
provided for crisis situations
Tools
of Hope/Blanket Program supplies warm blankets for the needy
A "Love
Shower" supplies toiletries and necessities to benefit women in
the local YWCA Shelter
Campbell
soup labels are collected to benefit the Hillside Children’s Home
in Rochester.
The
Church Periodical Club/"Mile of Pennies" funds children’s
books throughout the world
United
Thank Offering supports the mission of the national church
The
group also supports the Broome County Council of Churches Jail Ministry
and the Bishop’s and the Rector’s Discretionary Funds
